Recent reviews of my Museum courses:
I JUST WANTED TO SAY A HUGE THANK YOU FOR THE BRILLIANT CLASS ON SATURDAY. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
IT WAS A PERFECT BLEND OF INFORMATIVE, INSTRUCTIVE AND PRACTICAL. I COULD HAVE CARRIED ON FOR HOURS! I’M GOING TO PRACTICE THE SIX-COLOUR TONE SKETCH. IT’S SO EFFECTIVE AND IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO VIEW THE SUBJECT REALLY CAREFULLY.
HAD A REALLY ENJOYABLE TIME YESTERDAY AND SURPRISED MYSELF WITH WHAT I COULD ACHIEVE ‘COMING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE’! (MY HUSBAND COULDN’T BELIEVE IT WAS MY OWN WORK!)
Was exhausted ( …. but well worth it and very inspirational)
For just £50 for a morning of proper teaching with strictly limited numbers of artists, these are informative drawing courses, which can either build on the introductory exercises experienced on the intoductory Drawing classes at the Museum or work well to develop new approaches to drawing.
In either case, each morning has a distinct theme (below) introduced concisely and knowledgeably, so that you can take all SIX courses (£45 each when you BUY THREE) or dip in as you like.
All Friday morning Continuing Drawing classes MUST be booked and paid for using the buttons below, to allow for preparation of materials.
We will use the British Museum’s incredible collection as our inspiration, as detailed below:
I provide drawing materials, including felt-tips, graphite pencils and coloured pencils, so you will only need to provide your own sketchpad or book – A3 recommended – and bring a drawing stool if you have one, otherwise I can provide a Museum stool for you.
Each class runs for 2 hours, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
